M pretty excited today because we finally are going to bring to you a product we have been working on for soooo long!
wcell is a solution that we wanted for ourselves. And after thinking for a while we thought what the heck, why not help everybody out???
It all started because of the high cell phone bills I received from my cell phone companies who dint miss a chance of showing their love to me in the form on nice 4 digit cell phone bills! Trying to get away from that, I came up with this concept!
I was tired of all the people trying to monetize the thing humans love doing (other than u know what)… ie talking! wcell rose out of the needs of everybody around us and we hope we are able to fulfill that need!
wcell as a concept when it came to my mind was simple… “Hey they say my cell phone is as good at a computer and its like the same computer I had in 95… why cant a application doing VOIP calling install in this?” ….I answered that with this and now we have got that application calling through the internet working on our cell phones ! :)
It was not an easy ride till here! We worked very hard for more than 7 months now. We got a team of very dedicated people who also loved the idea and worked on it day and night… without which nothing would have been possible! Got offices worked on the technology. Cut costs at every nook and corner so that we don’t run away from what we really wanted to do ie: make telecom so inexpensive so that nobody has to think twice before calling wherever the guy may be! :)
Today finally after all this time… it is time that we bring before the world a product that will change everybody’s life!
wcell supports 2500 cell phones so we cover almost all the cell phone in the market! And we try our level best to keep the prices as low as possible. I seriously believe you can NOT go lower on the pricing front that this! Not yet! If it is possible in the future we would be the first ones doing that!
With US in recession we understand the need to cut costs in the economy and this is our little was of saying to the country we care! And also we want to tell everybody that we can cut costs with innovation and we will get things back on track!
International calling industry is more than $450billion and a similar scale is the size of the local calling industry in US alone! Total would be equal to the whole of the relief packages US government gave out! And this is only one year! Think about the savings of the country over the long term if we shift to better technologies like this! We believe we can help everybody in putting this money to better use! And we promise everybody we will help the economy get back on track in our own little way!
